The Old Vic are delighted to announce The Twenty Four Hour Plays Celebrity Gala 2011 on Sunday 13 November.
Their host this year will be the brilliant Rob Brydon, the BAFTA nominated British actor and comedian who many of you will recognise from the hit comedy drama on television, Gavin and Stacey.
As ever, a wealth of actors, directors and writers will generously lend their extraordinary talent to write and rehearse six short plays before performing them on The Old Vic stage, all within 24 hours. It’s the ultimate theatrical challenge that culminates with an exclusive post show party for our valiant participants.

The 24 Hour Plays Celebrity Gala is the principal fundraiser for Old Vic New Voices and is in aid of The Old Vic Theatre Trust. The Trust is a Charity set up to ensure the theatre’s future as a producing house and to safeguard the heritage of our 193-year old iconic building.
Since The Old Vic receives no government subsidy, this event is vital to enable this on-going work. We so appreciate your support in enabling this work to thrive and grow by buying tickets for this event.
