Every year the Total Management team pack up the office and head to the gorgeous French Riviera to attend the Cannes Film Festival. After months of planning and hours of agonizing over what to wear we finally made it to Cannes (minus a small hiccup with a serious amount of excess baggage)! This year was set to be hectic with us both producing and attending a number of events.

Our event took place on 18th May, hosted by Denise Rich and Eva Longoria on board Ms. Rich’s private yacht, Lady Joy. Guests including Alec Baldwin (and his film crew), Michelle Rodriguez, Amaury Nolasco, Tamara Ecclestone and a slightly worse for wear Tara Reid were on board sipping delicious Pinky Vodka Cocktails, Veuve Clicquot Champagne and AIX Rose and dining on a delicious canapé selection prepared by Denise’s personal chef, Michael Page. Eva Longoria struggled through the hordes of photographers waiting by the red carpet, determined to capture a shot of the Desperate Housewives star. Chris O’Dowd however strolled through the crowds in his interpretation of the Riviera Chic dress code (Hawaiian shirt teamed with a blue blazer), greeted the team on the door like old friends and was later seen throwing some shapes on the dance floor with fiancée Dawn Porter before heading off to VIP Room for the Belvedere Party. Overall, an amazing night which raised awareness for two fantastic charities meaning that a very tired but happy Total Management team left the boat in the early hours after a surprise visit from Diddy and crew! After the success of our event we were on a high for the rest of the festival as we slipped back into our heels and joined the likes of Paul Bettany and Gemma Arterton on the terrace of the stunning Hotel du Cap Eden Roc to attend the Vanity Fair & Gucci Party in honour of last year’s head of the Jury, Robert De Niro. We didn’t stop there, on Monday night, we were spoilt for choice but the decision was made and off we went armed with our striking gold invitations to the side entrance of the iconic Martinez Hotel to board our shuttle to the mystery location where the annual Chopard Party was taking place. Guests were invited to wear Chopard diamonds and enjoyed entertainment by the stars of Cirque du Soleil before being sent on a treasure hunt to find masques to wear for the occasion.

Tuesday evening was spent watching Simple Minds perform a live set at the ‘Replay’ Party in the Martinez Hotel, they may be old but they’ve still got it and they well and truly rocked to old classics such as ‘Don’t you (forget about me)’ and had the whole crowd up on their feet! The 23rd was slightly more civilised as the team joined De Grisogono jewellery brand owner, Fawaz Gruosi at Hotel du Cap in dancing the night away. 300 friends and privileged guests of the Swiss jewellery brand including model Heidi Klum and actor Adrien Brody partied from dusk to dawn.

The amfAR annual party also took place at Hotel du Cap this year and they pulled out all of the stops to create one of the most celebrated and star studded events of the festival, guests sipped Moet Hennessy cocktails and enjoyed petit fours before dinner and an auction with a stunning Fashion Show produced by former French Vogue Editor, Carine Roitfeld keeping guests entertained. As the 24th was our last night and the festival was drawing to a close, the Total Management team headed to Baoli restaurant, at Port Canto, to celebrate a very successful 65th Cannes Film Festival. As we sipped Espresso Martini’s, ate delicious food and danced the night away we left Cannes setting our sights and expectations high for next year!
