Hello
Big-hearted celebrities winged their way to a secret garden-themed gala in aid of Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research at London's Battersea Power Station. The stars studding the crowd, who included Marie Helvin and Mr Selfridge lead actor Jeremy Piven, dug deep into their pockets at a charity auction to raise funds for the worthy cause.
Guests were also treated to cocktails and a delicious dinner by Mexican restaurant chain Wahaca with entertainment from Domino singer Jessie J.

Battersea Power Station was aglow with goodwill and munificence last night for the £750-a-head Gabrielle's Gala. Guests - including Princess Beatrice, Sarah, Duchess of York, Camilla Rutherford and Heather Kerzner - pitched up (looking serious foxy) and were treated to a secret garden-themed evening. Wahaca provided the Mexican grub, while the pick 'n' mix table, ice cream stall and lemon meringues-on-a-stick kept everyone on a sugar high. Jessie J sang, Sam Young DJ'd and Tallia Storm set off a, er, storm - she had everyone up off their seats and dancing.

Proceeds from the event went to The Eva Longoria Fund, Seven Bar Foundation and The Great Initiative and there were plenty of celebrities on hand to donate.
Billion dollar girl Tamara Ecclestone arrived in an attention grabbing black sequined dress. American model Jerry Hall wore a knee length black dress and opted for flat shoes as she arrived with her husband Warwick Hemsley.

Along with Total Management and Gilt City, Jagger was one of the hosts of the Fashion Week soiree at Rich's posh pad. Her emotional display came during a speech that Rich made about Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research, which the celebrity songwriter founded after her 27-year-old daughter Gabrielle Aouad succumbed to leukemia in 1996.
The New York Times
Saturday night brought no rest to the biannual bacchanal known as New York Fashion Week. On the Upper East Side, Denise Rich hosted a party for Total Management and Jade Jagger at her Picasso- and Basquiat-filled home. Jade Jagger, dressed in Lanvin, donated two items to be auctioned off for the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation: a piece of jewelry from her Disco Diamonds collection and a 15-liter bottle of wine. “It’s a Nebuchadnezzar!†she said.
